The lead generation stack

Outbound fails on list quality far more often than on sequence copy. Build the research layer before the sending layer and the same effort produces several times the replies.

The layers that matter

  1. 01

    Research

Automated collection of the signals that define a good-fit account.

  2. 02

    Outbound

Sequenced, personalized contact at a volume one person can sustain.

  3. 03

    Pipeline

Where a reply becomes a tracked conversation instead of a lost email.

  4. 04

    Conversation

A business number and call handling once replies turn into calls.

Build the list before the sequence

A tight list of 50 accounts that match a real trigger outperforms 2,000 scraped contacts. The research layer is what makes the list tight, and it's the part most stacks skip.

Measure these three things

Everything else is vanity until these are healthy:

  • Reply rate, not open rate.
  • Meetings booked per 100 contacts.
  • Cost per booked meeting, including the tooling.

Don't add a CRM too early

If you're generating fewer than about ten replies a week, a shared sheet is fine. Add the pipeline record when handoffs between people start dropping context.

What it costs

$100–$500 a month depending on sending volume.

Your stack won't be this one

This is the shape, not the answer. Five questions about your stage, team, goals and budget gets you a specific stack with the reasoning attached.
